The Synagogue, like other organisation faces costs to maintain the religious, educational and social roles of the DPJC and our presence in the Durban Jewish community, we need to ensure the financial viability of the Congregation. Be assured that every effort is made to minimise costs without diminishing the services offered by the DPJC.
July 2019/June2020 – Membership Fees
The new fees structure, with effect from 1st July 2019 are as follows:
- Family membership – R 5 636 per annum / R 469.67 per month
- Single membership – R 2 818 per annum / R 234.83 per month
- Country family membership – R 2 818 per annum / R 234.83 per month
- Country single membership – R 1 409 per annum / R 117.42 per month
Please remember that membership fees are payable in advance on 1st July each year, or monthly by arrangement. We would be grateful if you would attend to any outstanding payments as soon as possible to save us any unnecessary admin costs.
Please note that all requests for remissions or reductions must be in writing to the Treasurer. Be assured that your request will be treated in strict confidence.
