The Chevra Kadisha is a very special organization that prepares those who have passed on for burial. It is not an easy task and the men and women who perform this sacred task are assisting in one of the most sacred tasks in life. We have been blessed to have wonderful leaders as the chair of the Chevra Kadisha. Today at Beit Devid, we have a woman Chair – Karen Krausey who sees to all the funerals with great compassion and dedication. To all our men and women of the Chevra, Kol Hakavod and a very big thank you!
